TXST's Teaching Award of Honor Recipient
This fall, Dr. Allison Robinson received the Teaching Award of Honor at Faculty Awards Night! This award is presented by the Texas State Alumni Association and recognizes superior Texas State classroom teachers.
Dr. Robinson is an associate professor of instruction in the history department and her research focuses on southern carceral state in the 20th century and the impact carceral policies had on women, girls, and African Americans in the South. She received her BA in Liberal Arts from Concordia University, her MA in History from Texas State University, and her PhD in History from the University of Houston.
