Darcy and Rick Hardy, Randy Rogers, Randy Rogers Band and the Cheatham Street Partners, LLC established the Kent Finlay Legacy Endowed Scholarship in Texas Music History in 2018. Today, The Randy Rogers Band Family Foundation made an additional $25K gift to the endowment. In celebration of The Wittliff’s current literary exhibition, William Broyles, the founding editor of Texas Monthly and Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Cast Away, sat in conversation with Stephen Harrigan yesterday. The Wittliff was founded by Austin screenwriter and photographer Bill Wittliff and his wife, Sally, and its mission is to collect, preserve and share the artistic culture that springs from the Southwestern imagination. Xi Delta | 50th Anniversary
On September 18, 2022, the Xi Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity reached a significant milestone. That date marked the 50th Anniversary of Xi Delta on the campus of Texas State University. As the first Black Greek organization chartered on campus, we are proud of this distinction and our community service work. You are invited to join us this Friday, February 24 as we share in the collective strength and unity of all of our involved and impactful organizations.

Texas State makes its return to SXSW on March 12. The Texas State University Innovation Lab and Reception is an opportunity for Texas State research teams to showcase their projects to an international audience. With help from corporate partners and mentors, students and faculty are using and creating breakthrough technologies to translate their ideas into transformative solutions to real-world problems.
