Alumni Association Scholarship Recipients

|
Alyssa Adams (B.F.A. '14)
As second-generation Bobcat, Texas State was an obvious choice for Alyssa. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in communication design. She currently works as the graphics coordinator for Rodeo Austin’s marketing department and participates in the Austin Alumni Network's social events when she can. Alyssa was a recipient of a Texas State University Alumni Association scholarship, which provided financial assitance and helped her to be debt free shortly after graduation. “Scholarships, grants, and the work-study program truly helped me fund a majority of my education and allowed me to dedicate the necessary time to my studies,” she says.
