Game Day with TXST Alumni Association
Get spirited with the Alumni Association at our four game day events this fall! All Bobcat friends and family are welcome. There are tailgates, a lawn party and a bbq brunch – come to all and let us know which one is your favorite! Your tickets include food, beverages (21+), music and yard games, chances to win prizes and special guest appearances. The State of Texas State
Faculty and staff joined the inaugural State of TXST event to celebrate the achievements of the past year and hear from President Kelly Damphousse and other university leaders about the university’s path forward. Experience the excitement here.

Bobcat Beginnings
Each graduate of Texas State University navigates a distinctive path in life. But no matter how different their post-college careers, they all share lasting memories of their time in San Marcos and the transformative experiences of being a Bobcat.  In 2024, Texas State will celebrate the 125th anniversary of its founding. To mark the occasion, the Office of Alumni Engagement is capturing the stories of Bobcats from across the decades with a wide-ranging Oral History Project. Supporting Degree Completion
The Crankstart Foundation recently awarded a generous grant contribution to Texas State University to support the re-entry scholarship program with distributions from 2023- 2026. The grant will help fund tuition expenses for undergraduate scholarship recipients with great financial need, who have experienced a gap in their education and meet the requirements to re-enter TXST. Students who show academic promise and a commitment to obtaining their degree whose studies were interrupted for circumstances beyond their control, have an opportunity to resume their studies and complete their baccalaureate degree at TXST.
