The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment is one of Texas State University’s most distinguished research centers. I joined Executive Director Dr. Robert Mace to explore this historic site and living laboratory to learn how we’re leading water conservation research for the state of Texas.

Run to R1 Video

What does it mean for TXST to Run to R1? At the Board of Regents meeting last month, I shared this Run to R1 video to explain our ambitious goal to achieve R1 by 2027 and why it matters for our students and society.

My Top Ten Moments

The summer semester at TXST is heating up. I enjoyed visiting a chemistry lab where students are making advanced catalysts that can be used to create clean hydrogen. Connecting with alumni across Texas and as far as New York has been a thrill. Plus, we’re breaking ground and launching programs in this month’s Top Ten Moments.
