TXST among America's Best Online Learning Schools for 2023
For the second time, TXST has been named one of America's Best Online Learning Schools by Newsweek magazine. Over the past decade TXST has significantly expanded online degree programs. Social work and health information management bachelor's degrees can be completed fully online, plus 12 fully online graduate degree and certificate programs.

Senior Design Day puts student innovation in the spotlight
Innovative projects developed by students in the Ingram School of Engineering were showcased at Senior Design Day. Over 30 projects were on display, using students’ engineering skills to solve real-world problems, including a fire-bot, electrostatic field mill, penbot, neuroergonomics, atmospheric water generation.

TXST awards first Unity Technologies Scholar
José Chavez was named TXST’s first Unity Technologies Scholar after completing a seven-week Unity XR Development course and winning a competition for his mastery of virtual reality tech. Jose graduated in early December with his master’s degree in computer science and will return in the spring to teach undergraduates in the library’s micro-credentialing program.

Hillviews Winter Issue Online
The winter 2022 edition of the TXST magazine Hillviews is now available online. This issue features TXST president Kelly Damphousse, Bobcat Track and Field coach John Frazier, 2022 Distinguished Alumni and Rising Star honorees, and a special focus on philanthropic impact and leadership.
